The Quarter-Life Calling

My friend Coby Kozlowski is the reason I became a life coach. Not to mention, she is the person who trained me to become a life coach. So I hold her in high regard.

One of her specialties is working with people in their 20s, a time some people refer to as the “quarter-life crisis.” And because she loves challenging ideas and playing with words, Coby flipped the idea of the “crisis” on its head, changing it to the “quarter-life calling.” Because a time of great conflict and unease can also be the time of great discovery and growth. Doesn’t that sound nicer, more appealing, more alive with possibility? It’s definitely the way I prefer to see the world: let’s view conflict as opportunity.

Coby leads workshops on both the East Coast (usually in Western MA) and West Coast (usually on the California coast) with the title “Quarter-Life Calling: Creating an Extraordinary Life in Your 20s.” If I were in my 20s, I would definitely go. And if you are in your 20s, I can’t recommend it more highly. Whole lives have been shaped by this week-long workshop. For real. And tattoos have been inked with the inspiration that attendees have left with. If that’s not enough motivation and  you want someone to talk to about it before committing, please let me know. I have plenty of folks for you.

The next one is coming up in January 2015; what are you waiting for? Get on it. (And if youre reading this in 2015, don't fret. Just check Coby’s calendar for the next one.)
