Sleep + Routine = Creativity
This article on creativity reminds me what I am always tempted to advise clients: get some sleep, and a regular schedule, and your work will be so much easier!
Many of us want to keep pushing toward the deadline, or pushing to take care of others. We do this because last-minute feels like the time when we get most of our best work done. Or we feel that if we take a break, we can't support other people.
But the research described in this article demonstrates: “If you’re not well rested, you won’t have the ability to sit down and focus when you really want to function.”
